[Event] Deckades – Skateboard Exhibition

all about giving back on a sunday, so here goes; Howies Shop, Bristol, are putting on the Deckades – skateboard exhibition, an exhibition of rare, original vintage skateboards; a majority from the private collection of Shiner Distribution. for the expo they’ve also asked some of their favourite artists to create one-off, hand decorated boards that could will be auctioned off to raise funds for Unicef, they gave each artist an original 1980s blank deck from the Shiner private collection and told them to go nuts & the results are a good look indeed. no one was paid for the work they did, it was all love.

for all of us that won’t be making it to Bristol, we can still bid for the boards on eBay – auctions began Friday 16th April @ 6pm & end Monday 26th April @ 6pm, with all profits going to Unicef. i feel a shill coming on.
