A brother’s betrayal and the nightmare of growing up too fast, in a place where there is nothing to live for.

This film was shot on location in the North of England in November 2008 as my Graduation film from the London Film School. I hope you enjoy it! It was shot on Super 16mm film at 1.85:1 aspect on an Arri SR3 with Zeiss prime lenses. The negative was then scanned at 2K resolution at Framestore London for colour grading and then mastered for projection on HDCAM-SR and DigiBeta. The total budget for those who are interested was £6,500 (€7,300 / $9,800 approx.) – Jonathan Entwistle

i almost severed my finger off this morning so whilst sitting @ my desk nursing my wound (oh yes, war novel in the making), so i’m sitting @ my desk & going through the vimeo archives; too many ‘shorts‘, & found this; a decent independent film from Jonathan Entwistle; think Waterloo Road, meets AdultHOOD, with a 51st State premise & a Northern England Mad Max-esque backdrop.
