I think at one time or another we have all been stung by a fake. Heck it happened to me way before any “real or fake” section in a forum was even created. I always feel it helps train us, to be more cautious with our purchases. Back in the day I could spot a fake a mile away, these days who knows?!. The bootleggers continue to step there game up in an industry worth millions. This article by The New York Times is a really interesting read, hopefully answering those “I wonder how they do it” type questions. Good to know that the brands we hold so dear e.g. Nike have stepped up there security game, but I guess they will always find a way.
