skipWaste Project

If it’s true that one man’s trash in another man’s treasure, Oliver Bishop-Young should be an extremely wealthy man. The London-based designer repurposes rented dumpsters (known as skips in the UK) to create patches of communal outdoor space. – Rugby

“By subverting the use of skips I try to bring pockets of other spaces and activities into places deprived of them,” – Oliver Bishop-Young

i need me a skip, a hot summers day, about 40 gallons of water, & a parking space; then i’m in business – anybody interested in a timeshare?! it doubles as a skate ramp, living room, garden & table tennis table, all of which can be seen after the click.
