[Design] Gary Chang – Domestic Transformer

Posted in Design, Visual by the.Zoo.keeper on April 30, 2010

apartments in Hong Kong are small, dingy places (so i’m told), so architect, Gary Chang, decided totransform his 344 sq. ft. apartment into the “Domestic Transformer”; it is now possible to change the apartment into 24 different designs, all by just sliding panels and walls.

if you’re tempted to try something like this on your own squatting, check his book – Gary Chang: My 32m2 Apartment – A 30 Year Transformation, which can be found here.

i wonder what his rates are, i’ve been thinking about changing things @ the ol’ Zoo HQ for a minute.
